Poor Bubba...
Found out that Rusty has arthritis in his elbow and he may not be able to do long runs anymore. He's limping pretty bad today and the pain meds don't appear to be helping much. I can only imagine the hell he is going to raise when I start taking he and Ditto for a short run, then I bring him back and leave with just Ditto to finish the miles. Sorry neighbors!

Rocky Point
Had a blast in Rocky Point with Sarah and the dogs. Hung out on the beach and enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Shiprock Half Marathon...
Finish time: 2 hours 2 minutes and 16 seconds. Not too bad considering my stomach was killing me and I had to use the port-o-potties along the way! Great day for a run...mid 50's at the start with a light breeze and mostly downhill course. The bummer was that I decided to drive home right after the run. That's a 6.5 hour drive, so needless to say, I was tired and stiff by the time I got home.

Big changes in my life...
Well, Dana and I weren't able to make things work and we have split. It's been very sad and lonely, but it gets a little easier every day. I know it's for the best and we'll both be happier in the end, but it doesn't make it any easier. She has moved back into her house and I have started getting mine in order. I wish her the best and hope she finds happiness. I guess I wish those same things for myself.

Sad News...
Had to put Boona down last night. He was 21 and lived a very good life, but it was still one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Hard and sad night for sure.
