My hardest run yet (my first, and probably last, trail run)! Temps were chilly, but nice, about 40 at start time. Started running at 8000 feet so it was incredibly hard to breathe. Within about a half mile I got my foot caught on a rock or something and went down hard. Bounced up, dusted myself off and continued running. It seemed like 10 of the 13 miles were uphill, and we had to jump over rocks, over logs, around holes, and through knee high grass. Very difficult run, but felt great once it was done, except for the bruise on my quad and hip. Finished in better time than I thought I would, at 2:22:33.
Welcome to my blog! This is my little chunk of cyber space to keep you all informed on what's going on in my life. Enjoy...
